			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We often heard someone exclaimed “I don’t feel good this morning” or “I don’t feel well.”</p>
<p>Although that person is not ill to the extent of performing work or chores that is required, that person does not have the feeling of balanced wellness or in a state of being well.</p>
<p><strong>What is wellness?<br />
</strong>Wellness is best described as a positive approach to living. Generally, wellness is used to describe a balance of the mind, body and spirit that results in an overall feeling of well-being. Wellness is also known as a state of health that we are in.</p>
<p><strong>In what state can we understand wellness?<br />
</strong>Have you wake up in the morning with a good feeling? It would be a good indication that you are in appropriate wellness state.<span id="more-37"></span></p>
<p>Wellness is closely associated with your lifestyle. You may not know it, you may have been drinking and staying out that few nights and you are still feeling good each morning. It could be you are still in the prime of your age.</p>
<p>But consider this. Our body “deteriorated” or “degenerated” after our prime years. There is no indicator to the exact prime age but generally, the age range is from 25 to 32 years of age.</p>
<p>So, it does not mean that we can forgo that healthy lifestyle till we hit 35. All the more, in today’s hectic and pollution-filled environment, it would be prudent to live that healthy lifestyle the moment we start our working life.</p>
<p>Wellness is an alternative to depend on doctors and drugs. Wellness is how we prepare ourselves in embracing a fruitful lifestyle in our later years.</p>
<p><strong>Our working life compare to our schooling days.<br />
</strong>You may not know it but it is true. All of us undergo a different life stage the moment we start working. We tend to get stress like meeting work schedules or working harder to achieve the sales target for this month. What about next month? The stress will wear us out, we feel tired in body and in mind.</p>
<p>So, a good portion of us will be living life in similar fashion. We get tired, worn by those daily working stress and most likely, coupled with stress from raising a family.</p>
<p>In order to counter this phenomenon, the state of our wellness is where we can rely upon for daily challenges.</p>
<p><strong>It’s our lifestyle that counts.<br />
</strong>Our lifestyle determined our pattern of general health. It is important that we led a lifestyle that leads to  better health as one can never been “too healthy”.</p>
<p>There are many influences of life in achieving wellness. They are physical, intellectual, emotional, social, occupational, spiritual, and environmental influences.</p>
<p>The physical and environmental influences are the 2 most important. A healthy body is the first and most important start to complement the intellectual, emotional, social, occupational and spiritual side of our life. A tired and weaken physical state would seek rest first before embarking on other daily issues. When you feel tired, you can never think well or be in a emotional state to engage in your own family dinner talks.</p>
<p>The environmental influence to wellness is secondary and also complementing to the physical state of the body. The physical state would benefit best in a clean environment that is conducive to better health.</p>
<p><strong>How to take our physical wellness to the peak?</strong><strong><br />
Physical wellness</strong> is a process in the making and all of us must take steps to ensure our physical wellness, maintained by:-</p>
<ul>
<li>good nutrition and      supplements,</li>
<li>adequate rest and sleep,</li>
<li>a healthy weight range,</li>
<li>regular work-outs and exercises,</li>
<li>avoid harmful habits like      smoking, drugs abuses and alcohol consumption.</li>
</ul>
<p>These practices would reduce sickness, as studies had shown, and be ready to seek medical attention when necessary.</p>
<p><strong>How to create the environmental wellness at work, play and rest?</strong><strong><br />
Environmental wellness</strong> involves in being socially responsible for all around you, like family, friends and colleagues. For example, if we can make a change like using a good water filtration system for drinking water and drink less carbonated bottled drinks or bottled mineral water, it would be wise do it. Open the windows more often to get that fresh air (unpolluted) into the living room would be better than having the air-conditioner on all day.</p>
<p>Last but not least, our lifestyle would eventually gears towards a wellness-orientated one that encourages us to adopt a healthier approach in life. When all these are in place, you can be confident in performing at each of our individual optimum level.</p>
<p>In the later years to come, how we take care of ourselves in your younger days would show.</p>
<p>One can never be too healthy and also one is never too old to start a healthier lifestyle. Take charge of your own lifestyle’s activities and reap the benefits to enjoy a quality tomorrow.</p>
